The Journal of Educational Research and Development published by the Association of Evaluators and Researchers of Nigeria (ASSEREN) is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers a broad range of issues in educational research, assessment, evaluation and other related issues. It is published under the auspices of HERPNET (Higher Education and Research Policy Network), which is a network of African higher education institutions and research organizations. The journal aims to provide a platform for the African community of higher education to share research ideas, information and experience, as well as ideas about the role of higher education in society today. The journal is published in English, in March, June, September and December every year
